What Is WendyQuest? Name Check — Game, Blog & Lookalikes
Editorial contact: Raymond
WendyQuest: Legend of the Four Corner Stones is a free Wendy’s Steam RPG by 81monkeys — but the name "wendyquest" also belongs to an unrelated author blog and other projects. Here is how to tell them apart. Checked October 30, 2026.
The game you are looking for is on Steam, by 81monkeys
WendyQuest: Legend of the Four Corner Stones is the official Wendy’s-branded pixel RPG, developed and published by 81monkeys and listed free on Steam for release on November 4, 2026. If a page with "WendyQuest" in the name does not match that description, it is one of the lookalikes below.
Every "WendyQuest" you might find, sorted out
| Name | What it is | Related to the game? |
|---|---|---|
| WendyQuest: Legend of the Four Corner Stones | The official free Steam RPG from Wendy’s and 81monkeys this site covers. | |
| wendyquest.com | An unrelated personal blog run by an author named Wendy Quest — writing, history research and Texas travel. | |
| Feast of Legends (2019) | A free Wendy’s tabletop RPG from 2019 — a different project that shares the brand but not this story. | |
| Wendy’s Quest by Moonveil | An unrelated RPG Maker adventure released years earlier on itch.io — the name overlaps, nothing else. | |
| Wendy’s Quest (2020, Nescuaiko) | An unrelated 2020 indie release tracked by outlets like Kotaku — check the developer credit before assuming. |
How to verify any WendyQuest claim
Two credits settle it every time: the game is developed and published by 81monkeys, and it is distributed free through Steam. Anything worth publishing about the game — release date, rewards, characters — can be traced to the store listing or those two companies’ own channels.
This site applies the same rule: the updates timeline only lists dated milestones, and each page shows its sources. Start at the release date page for the launch facts.
FAQ
Is wendyquest.com the WendyQuest game?
No. wendyquest.com is the personal blog of an author named Wendy Quest — it covers writing, history and travel, and has nothing to do with video games. The official game lives on Steam under the full name WendyQuest: Legend of the Four Corner Stones.
How do I know a "WendyQuest" page is the real game?
Check two signals: the developer field says 81monkeys, and the page links the Steam listing. Official channels are the Steam store page, the studio 81monkeys, and Wendy’s own accounts — anything else is a fan page at best.
Has Wendy’s made games before WendyQuest?
Yes — most notably Feast of Legends, a free tabletop RPG released in 2019 with a Queen Wendy and an invasion by the Ice Jester. Older results about "Wendy’s games" can point at that project rather than WendyQuest.
Are there other games named Wendy’s Quest?
At least two unrelated projects have used the name: Wendy’s Quest by Moonveil on itch.io and Wendy’s Quest, a 2020 release by Nescuaiko. If a page does not credit 81monkeys and link Steam, it is not the official free RPG.
Why does the site use the full name everywhere?
Because "Wendy Quest" alone is ambiguous — it collides with the blog and other uses. This wiki refers to the game as WendyQuest: Legend of the Four Corner Stones so there is never a doubt which project is meant.
